In Primary classes, the child's class teacher is responsible for their pastoral well-being.Children are encouraged to discuss issues/concerns with the class teacher in order that appropriate advice can be received.

On occasion, Year Group Leaders, Deputy Principals and/or the Principal may be involved at the request of the child or the teacher, or a referral may be made to the school counsellor.

Parents are kept fully informed of any concerns, although if appropriate, the relevant authorities/departments may also be involved if it is felt that this is in the child's best interests.
