PRIMARY
Primary Student CouncilThe ISB Primary Student Council is a peer elected group with a representative from each KS2 class. The role of the Council is to be a student voice and to take on extra responsibilities within the school. The Student Council meets once a week (and then some when preparing for events) to discuss, plan and put into action prioritized ideas. Being in a leading role also gives members opportunities for personal growth.

Team Captains
Each student within the Primary School is a member of one of ISB’s three representative Teams, Sangang, Beruang and Ingkat.
Students collect Team Points through a range of activities over the school year e.g. class awards, Sports Challenges, can recycling collections.
Each week the points are collated and the winning team awarded.
The final award being a collation of the year’s weekly winnings – The Team Cup.
Each team is led by two Team Captains.

Ingkat (Red) – Daniele Intrigila and Gabriel Burke
Beruang(Yellow) – Iman Zaini and William Murray

Activities
International Day
Our International Day celebrations provided the Council their first opportunity to be seen as a group. Our newly elected School Leaders presented the school wide assembly, to all the students from the Primary school and also to the many parents who came to participate in the day. The Council prepared a dance, which they performed in both the Primary and Secondary Assembly, to Shakira’s song, Waka Waka - the theme song to The World Cup Football tournament held in South Africa.

Chinese New Year
To celebrate Chinese New Year, the Student Council organised themed activities for the children in Kindy and KS1. There was dragon designing, lantern making, feeing the dragon, and a puppet show.
