University Counsellor
The International School Brunei University Counsellor supports students through their University admissions process with personalised guidance aimed at finding a University program that best fits the individual’s passion and interests. Our University Counsellor works closely with the International Baccalaureate teachers, faculty heads and administrators as they help students choose appropriately challenging classes.
Together, we work with students to find the best University to fit their personal and career interests. Students are encouraged to reflect on their interests, talents, and goals, and to research and explore the colleges that will foster those abilities and aspirations.
Personalised University Guidance
To help them on their route to higher education, students at ISB receive personalised guidance from our University Counselor, who shares advice about the best steps to take and assists with their applications. In addition, our University Counselor helps promote our students by highlighting their strengths, achievements and talents to their prospective universities.
At ISB, the Pre-University team begins having conversations with our Year 11 students about their IB options and helps ensure that the subjects that they’re choosing are suitable for the potential degree they wish to pursue. Once the students embark on Years 12 and 13, they have one-to-one sessions with our University Counselor to discuss their career aspirations and their intended university, as well as to plan for their application process.

University and Career Fair
Each year, ISB holds the annual University and Careers Fair involving local and international universities as well as embassies, enabling our students to learn more about the various exciting options that await them after graduating.
