In 2015, ISB embarked on a significant journey as we relocated to our expansive 22-acre site in Kampong Sungai Hanching. This move provided us with a unique opportunity to align with our strong commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. To achieve this, we collaborated closely with environmental specialists who played a pivotal role in designing our new campus.

We are immensely proud to announce that ISB has not only embraced but also excelled in its ‘green’ philosophy. We are honoured to be recognised as the first educational institution in Brunei to construct a complete campus that adheres to the rigorous standards of the BCA Green Mark requirements. This accomplishment solidifies our position as the leading ‘green’ school within our community.

To further reinforce our eco-conscious values, our passionate and driven students take the helm as Eco Warriors. These young leaders inspire and spearhead various environmentally- focused initiatives, both within our school and throughout our wider community. They also diligently audit ISB’s eco-friendly provisions and action plans, ensuring that our commitment to sustainability remains at the forefront of our educational mission.
